Shobu is a game played on four boards. Your goal is to push all of your opponents pieces off of any one board. #Quick_to_play #Abstract_Strategy #Easy_to_Learn #2_Player
Pieces Required:
64 Tiles
32 Piece Bases
16 White Checker Pieces
16 Black Checker Pieces
32 Heads of any kind (optional)
Starting Layout:

This layout shows 32 pawns, while the base set of MOD64 has only 16 pawn heads. If you do not have enough pawn heads use different piece heads or play with headless pieces.
Rules:
Movement:
On your turn make two moves in this order:
Make a passive move - Move any of your pieces on the two boards closest to you one or two space in any direction (horizontal, vertical, or diagonal), ending on an unoccupied space.
Aggressive move - Choose a piece on a board of the opposite color to the board used in the passive move. Make the same move with this piece as you did in the passive move. If there is a piece of the opposite color in the way, then that piece is pushed to the next tile along the line of movement. If their is no tile available, then the piece gets pushed off of the board. You may only push one piece with this move, and you may not push one of your own pieces.
Ending the Game:
Once all pieces of a certain color are emptied off of a board, then the player playing the other color wins.
