Neutron is a simple two player game where players fight to get the neutron to their side of the board. #quick_to_play #easy_to_learn #2_player #abstract_strategy
Pieces Required:
25 tiles
10 piece bases
11 pawn heads
6 black checker pieces
6 white checker pieces
Initial Board Setup:

Setup a 5x5 board with a row of pawns on each side. Place a neutron in the center. I suggest making the neutron by stacking a black checker piece on a white checker piece and putting a pawn head on top, but feel free to be creative.
Movement:
On your turn, you first move the neutron and then you move one of your pawns. The pawns and the neutron all move in the same way. They move horizontally, vertically, or diagonally until they hit another piece, or the edge of the board.
White moves first, but on its first turn, it does not move the neutron, it only moves one of its pawns.
Ending the Game:
The game can end in two ways. If a player cannot move the neutron then they lose. Meanwhile, if the neutron is moved to one player's side of the board, then that player wins.
