Pass your ball between your pieces and try and get it to the other side of the board before your opponent. #abstract_strategy #easy_to_learn #quick_to_play #2_player
Pieces Required
10 piece bases
5 black checker pieces
5 white checker pieces
2 pawn heads
Setup
Setup a 7x8 board with 5 pieces of a color on either side. The central pieces on each side have a pawn head and the other 4 pieces are headless.
Rules
Move your pieces and pass the ball (pawn head) until you get your ball to the other side of the board.
Movement
On your turn you may either move a piece or pass the ball.
To move a piece, choose a piece that does not have the ball and move it as the knight in chess: 2 spaces horizontally or vertically, then 1 space in a perpendicular direction. Jumping over pieces is allowed, but pieces may not be captured.
To pass the ball, move it in a straight line horizontally, vertically, or diagonally to another one of your pieces. You may not pass the ball to a piece if one of the enemy pieces is blocking the path to that piece. You may pass the ball between multiple pieces on your turn.
End of the Game
The game ends when either player's ball reaches the opposite side. The player who's ball reaches the other side first wins.
